Kingsborough Community College is proud to host the 6th Annual City University of New York General Education Conference on Friday, 7 May 2010, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, to further the University’s efforts to improve general education for all students. 

Kingsborough’s General Education Conference Committee devised this year’s theme, “Different Disciplines, Common Goals,” to emphasize the constellation of relationships among curriculum reform, competencies, transfer, and assessment of student learning at CUNY’s community, comprehensive, and senior colleges.

The conference will be held in Kingsborough’s Marine Academic Center (MAC) Rotunda. The keynote address will be delivered by Pat Hutchings, Vice President of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and a leading national figure in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
